Microsoft Beat Expectations

Microsoft (MSFT) reported earnings of $3.46 per share on revenue of $70.07 billion for the fiscal third quarter ended March 2025. The consensus earnings estimate was $3.20 per share on revenue of $68.38 billion. The Earnings Whisper number was $3.24 per share. The company beat expectations by 6.79% while revenue grew 13.27% on a year-over-year basis.

The company said during its conference call it expects fourth quarter revenue of $73.15 billion to $74.25 billion. The current consensus revenue estimate is $72.03 billion for the quarter ending June 30, 2025.
