Opendoor Technologies Missed Expectations

Opendoor Technologies (OPEN) reported a loss of $0.09 per share on revenue of $1.15 billion for the first quarter ended March 2025. The consensus estimate was a loss of $0.10 per share on revenue of $1.06 billion. The Earnings Whisper number was a loss of $0.08 per share. The company missed expectations by 12.50% while revenue fell 2.37% compared to the same quarter a year ago.

The company said it expects second quarter revenue of $1.450 billion to $1.525 billion. The current consensus revenue estimate is $1.39 billion for the quarter ending June 30, 2025.
